Teaching staff from the Programme Country HEIs developed tasks for the mobility runs (topics for students’ joint projects) and the format of the collaboration with the students. The students’ teams formed based on the selected research topics were appointed a supervisor from the Programme Country university and encouraged to initiate a project in the group, organize communication and teamwork, allocate roles and responsibilities to all group members, define project objectives and research methods, and apply the knowledge of research methodology acquired in the preparatory (online course learning activity) stage.
The collaboration format was presented during the students’ conference in May 2018 (DEV 4.2.2); the tasks (i.e. topics for the students’ joint projects) were made available to students on the Moodle platform.
