Selected PhD students from Ukraine and Serbia (DEV 3.5.2), were notified of their selection, through departments upgraded or founded within DEV 2.3, after which they started establishing the research contacts with their supervisors and/or research fellows of the host universities.
In this first preliminary phase, PhD students and research fellows and professors form the host universities got to know each other and made arrangements on future mutual work (e.g. joint paper) by -email, Skype, or other means or communication.
