The second virtual mobility run has been assessed by the participants to the activity, i.e.:
- Students
- Teaching staff from TURIL and Serbia (supervisors of the 2nd Virtual Mobility)
- Representatives of EU universities and coordinators
The respondents were invited to fill a questionnaire that was available on the moodle platform, i.e. the platform used by students and teachers to share materials and the video lecture.
The questionnaire was aiming to assess the:
- Quality of the organization of the virtual mobility run
- Quality of the learning/teaching experience during the virtual mobility run and the online courses (from the point of view of supervisors, students and EU partners)
To this aim, three questionnaires targeted to the three groups have been developed as follows:
- 31 closed questions were posed to students + space for comments
- 17 closed questions to coordinators and representatives of EU universities
- 21 closed questions to supervisors + space for comments
The responses were gathered and analysed and summarized in a report.
Overall, the experience was considered interesting and satisfactory for both students and supervisors. Using the words of the students: “Good experience, definitely I would recommend to others”, “It was very useful for me and for my professional work”, and “It was a good experience. It was hard, because I was always busy and I did not have enough time”, and of supervisors: ““I am convinced that participation in virtual mobility (as in real life) for students should be part of the student’s curriculum – with relevant loans and a final assessment!”
Some challenges for future experiences of virtual mobility emerged from the responses to the questionnaire. The students-supervisor interaction is difficult and sometimes also students-students interaction (sometimes weak engagement of students). Both students and supervisors might have needed some kind of further preparation to the experience, since it was the first time of virtual mobility for most of them.
